Programme of the Egypt Society of Bristol

ESB events are normally held in the Arts Complex, University of Bristol; however, as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, all lectures (at least until the autumn of 2022) will be held on-line via Zoom.

It has been decided that, even when we are able to hold ‘in person’ lectures once again, we will continue to offer Zoom lectures during University vacations (when rooms are not available), scheduling international speakers who are unlikely otherwise to be able to lecture to the ESB.

We will also be investigating whether it may be possible to stream resumed ‘in person’ lectures on Zoom, but this cannot yet be guaranteed.

Attendance for Members is free, and they will automatically receive links at least a week before each lecture takes place.

All lectures begin at 18:45.

Tickets for non-members (£4.00 per person) will be made available via Eventbrite on the same timescale.
